So, how complex can you make a cardboard robot? I only started out with the idea of 4 arms and caterpillar track feet, everything else got filled in on the way. Because of his size and weight all the points of articulation were made extra strong with removable cardboard caps over all the bolts to access them and tighten things up if (when) they became loose. I started out with my robots making joints with just toothpicks and glued end caps but eventually they became loose and the limbs would sag, bolts became the better option.
